The house, which is called ‘At the Most Holy Trinity’, was built in Renaissance style after rebuilding an older medieval house. It was extended during the Baroque period and went through several further reconstructions until the 19th century.

From the 17th century onwards the house was known for a long time as ‘At the Goldsmith’s’ after the occupation of the then owner Jan Krystof Mayer. As an important part of the Prague architectural heritage the house is now under the UNESCO’s protection.

The last full renovation of the house is from 1994 with the project concentrating particularly on saving and restoring the components of previous reconstruction works and protecting the most important architectural features, without neglecting to satisfy modern accommodation requirements expected of the residential house at the same time.

The house is in Tynska Street in the historical centre of the city. It is about 50 metres from the Wenceslas Square. As a residential house it provides exceptionally comfortable and cosy accommodation for guests in an elegant and quiet environment.

The house has five storeys. The top floor had been converted into private attic flats. The basement retains its medieval characteristics, including the fragments of a Gothic portal, and at present it is used as a luxury cosmetic salon Madeleine as are the some parts of the ground floor.

On the ground floor there is a small studio suitable for tourists or people on business trip visiting Prague for a short period of time. On the first and second floor there are fully furnished flats, suitable for persons such as managers, non-residents or people coming for professional practice, which can be used for a longer stay (minimum is two months).
